This summer Stone of Help Haiti, along with Calvary Chapel Reston Station, ministered to those in the distant, remote, and less traveled region of La Vallee, Jacmel.
La Vallee is one of eleven church communities Stone of Help Haiti serves for the cause of Christ.
While in La Vallee, our mission team prepared VBS for the children and youth as well as the outdoor showing of the Jesus film for all the locals. Pastor Sean led Sunday service and the people were blessed mightily by his message.
This area, as with most of Haiti, continues to suffer from the lasting remnant of the devastating earthquake of 2010, as well as Hurricane Matthew in October of 2016.
The church of La Vallee is in great need of physical repair. However, it remains vibrant and strong in spirit.
Your contributions provided some much needed Bibles for the church during our visit. I thank God for the saints of La Vallee. Their enduring faith in spite of extreme hardship is truly an inspiration.
Additionally, this summer the church grounds of Ganthier was the site of a successful remote medical clinic.
Dedicated teams of Haitian professionals served tirelessly upwards of 250 children and adults. Contributions to Stone of Help Haiti provided a variety of medicine, personal hygiene packs, clothing and more. Stone of Help Haiti is dedicated to confronting Health issues while seeking to impact communities via the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is only made possible by God’s provision through His people. We thank you for your generous giving!
