Pray for Stability and Hope in Haiti this Year

By God’s grace, August begins another fiscal year for His ministry through Stone of Help Haiti. Your prayers and faithful giving are received with great thanksgiving as they fuel the three-fold vision of Christian Discipleship, Health and Education that God has set before us in Haiti.

As often reported, instability and life-threatening violence continue to be an ongoing reality throughout the land. Kenyan troops are now on the scene confronting deadly gang activity primarily in the greater Port au Prince areas. Additional assistance will also be provided by certain neighbors in the Caribbean. Travel within Haiti is greatly limited as the threat of robbery and kidnapping is all too commonplace along the roadways. The people of Haiti are suffering mightily from health-related issues including food insecurity and extreme poverty. Yet, through it all, the mission of church communities served through Stone of Help Haiti stand faithful, hopeful, and “strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”

Please pray for God’s provision and guidance so that Stone of Help Haiti might serve His three-fold vision in even greater ways in the times ahead…

Christian Discipleship: Please pray for church leaders who minister tirelessly under worsening conditions among the saints. May God strengthen them so they might “not grow weary while doing good.’’ Pray for God’s gospel of grace to go forward with boldness in these increasingly difficult times.

Health: Please pray that Mt Olive Clinic will receive the required funding to maintain a proper supply of medication for those in the remote mountains of Jacmel who have no other source of quality healthcare.

Education: Please pray for the upcoming school year and safety among the students in their daily commute. Pray for increased funding so that Stone of Help Haiti can offer many more students the gift of education.

May God bless you mightily for coming alongside Stone of Help Haiti as we, together, continue to faithfully carry out God’s ministry in Haiti. I humbly ask for your continued support as we head into another fruitful year of serving the beautiful people of Haiti for the cause of Christ.
